This quiet town of 5,000 people, Bogliasco is located just southeast of Genoa on the western coast of Italy. Just about 50 miles north of the popular destination of Cinque Terre. If you’re looking for an authentic little Italian town, this is it! Bogliasco is not a tourist destination, so brush up on your Italian. The town is very small, so it only has about 2 cabs. With that being said, you can walk from one end of town to the other in a little under two hours.
1.) Get some sun at Bogliasco beach
This beach was amazing. After being in two big cities, this was an amazing way to relax and unwind. The beach is inhabited by mostly locals and has two bars located on it. You do have to pay if you want to relax on a beach chair though.
2.) Catch the sunset behind Chiesa della Natività di Maria Santissima
Located just a few miles from the train station, walk behind this church and see the most amazing sunset. There are also a few benches you can sit at to admire the view.
3.) Enjoy some fine wine and authentic Italian food at Al Solito Posto
With the MICHELIN Plate for good cooking, this restaurant is second to none with imaginative cuisine based on traditional Italian dishes. The owner also speaks english, which is extremely helpful when deciding on an entree.
4.) Take the train to Genoa
